Need a 1996 wiring harness, does if have to be a 1996 ?
I'm in need of a 1996 wiring harness for a friends Z28. His computer is fine so he just needs the harness. I need to know if we need to be looking for 1996 specific harness for it to work for his car ?

Thanks and one last question, I need to ask my buddy if his car is a M6 or Auto but would that matter with the engine harness I find ? Would it need to be for the same transmission ? Or would anything else need to be identical between the two cars ?

The manual and auto harnesses will be different in the part that goes to the transmission. Better to get the one that matches the trans.
