Flywheel and clutch kit

Flywheel and clutch kit
Whats the best flywheel and clutch kit to get. Ive got a vibration when you first take off and when you gear down. Its a six speed car shifts fine pulls hard but has that vibration and at 110 mph its has a horrible vibration throught the whole car and im thinking could be the flywheel. So if i need to replace it im not gonna take it apart without replacing it all. So with that said i would like some ideas on a decent set up for the street dont plan on racing it so i dont need nething to aggresive.

You should add a little more info on what you have (year, mods, etc...). A popular solution is to add a signature. Is the vibration a function of speed or rpm? The steel driveshaft in the LT1 cars was notorious for vibration. Does it vibrate in neutral sitting still with the clutch out if you rev it up?

Without the HP level, it's hard to make a recommendation. I like the McLeod Street Twin, and had one when my car still had the T56, but it's a $1,300 setup, available with either steel or aluminum flywheel.

Re: Flywheel and clutch kit
Its a 95 z28 6 speed and as far as i know its all stock. It dont do it in neutral with clutch in or out. If you let out on the clutch just enough to were it starts pulling it starts shaking real bad the back tires will start shaking to. The vibration is just real bad past 95 mph back off to 90 and it quits.

Re: Flywheel and clutch kit
If you rev it up in neutral (not moving) and there is no vibration, I would guess the flywheel is ok. Are you mistaking vibrations from clutch chatter as you let out the clutch to start moving? So cruising at 65 is fine but over 90 starts to vibrate? Sounds like separated tire/unbalanced wheel/unbalanced drive shaft. I had a bad vibration in my drive shaft that was corrected at the dealer with an aluminum one.
