My flowmaster cat-back exh. knocks and rattles in overdrive and sometimes in park...........I've got a CAI and stock manifolds....... Does anyone know why and how I can stop it.........

Any help would be cool................

I would make sure that you still had all your exhaust hangers in place and that everything was tight.

Yeah your probably banging on something. Also check your heat shield around the cat area. My buddy had a problem with his half falling off and rattling so we ripped it off and no rattling any more.

how bout a broke catalytic converter...when the element inside breakes it can cause rattling

Mine rattles right under the passenger seats if it's not tight

The heat shield also razzes a bit at certain RPM.s

How much good does the heat shield do if the cat has been removed?
