Hmmm, Leaf Springs. Cant be too bad of a thing. My buddy has an '02 Z06, and I think it has rear leaf springs if im not mistaken. The Vette is a SuperCar, leafsprings or not.

The rear suspension of the Corvette has sinse 1963 used a single transverse mounted leaf spring. I believe that sinse 1984 it has been made of composites, but it is still a leaf spring.

I'd also like to say that it works very nicely. I wouldnt change it.

keys for the vette is TRANSVERSE MONO leaf spring.. One composite material leaf that runs transverse ( parallel to the axle line out back)


Very different from the stack metal leafs on each side running long wise on trucks and old cars.

The Cadillac XLR also runs a transverse mounted leaf spring. So does the W-Body platform from 1988-1996.

Exactly, this is what I meant. Ok yes it has a leaf spring technically, but really it isn't a standard leaf spring you'd find on a truck. To me it's more of a suspension type bar, than a leaf spring.
