Emergency Responce requested about clutch disc
I have a 94 chevy camaro with a 355 and my clutch disc just broke into two seperate pieces. I might have a guy eith a clutch setup from a 99 ss camaro which was a ls1 will that complete setup work with my car or do I need to buy a new disc and if I do where to get a cheap disc from asap.

The LT1 engine uses a unique "pullback" clutch. The LS1 cars use a conventional "pusher" type clutch. They are not interchangeable. For example, the LT1 T56 has the clutch fork pivoted on a bolt on the front of the tranny, that "pulls" the T/O bearing back, and a slave cylinder mounted on the bell housing. The LS1 T56 has a slave cylinder bolted concentriclly to the input shaft on the front of the tranny, with no fork. The slave "pushes" directly on the T/O bearing to release it.
