electrical problems...
in my 96 camaro convertible sometimes the windows and roof refuse to work...after 5 min they may work perfectly...
i dont know what to do does anyone have any ideas. a mechanic told me that maybe there is not good connection somewhere but it would take a long time to find it and i think he wants also lots of money....
please help me....

The bad connection is probably in the Windows circuit breaker in the inside fuse panel. That breaker routes the power to the windows and the convertible top. You can verify that by swapping it with the Defogger circuit breaker next to it. These are available at most auto parts stores. Some folks replace it with an ordinary 30 amp fuse temporarily. If the new one trips out frequently, then resets after a few minutes, there is probably a partial short in a window or top motor.
