Dyno tune results
Fulfilled one more thing I've wanted done and got a dyno tune recently. I know it's small potatoes compared to many on this board but I'm pretty pleased with my 325HP and 337 ft/lbs torque with primarily bolt-ons done myself. See signature for details.
Dyno operator thinks the squiggle in the readings is due to the rear end shifting around on the dyno drums.

Re: Dyno tune results
Nice..... gained 100 HP over stock with a CAI, cat back, mid-lengths and a moderate cam. I suspect it's very street friendly. Still a very broad torque curve. I think at this point in my life I'd prefer something like that rather than a car that is only useful at the track.... and never goes there any more.
How many miles on the engine? Original Opti? Stock injectors.... if so, it's a very efficient tune, or the injectors are pushing the limits on duty cycle. Was the 316 HP (??) the "before" tune value? Who did the original tune?

Re: Dyno tune results
I have 145,000 on the car. This is it's second or third Opti. They are the stock injectors but I sent them off to be ultrasonically cleaned, repaired and tested.
I was running a PCMforLess tune which I think was running rich. The operator didn't run an initial baseline (I wish he had) he tweaked the tune a bit and then did the first run that produced 316HP. Then he worked on the tune a bit more and got the 325HP. He cut off the run at 6,000 RPM.
The work was done by Tracy at Cincy Speed in Cincinnati. They were the nearest place I could find within driving distance that can still do a tune on an LT1 engine.
Yes, it does well on the street but does express the extra HP loudly. Now that the tune is done I'm probably going to put the full plate in the exhaust so I can hear myself think. The exhaust isn't bad on the highway cruising but around town it gets tiresome.
