Does anyone know how the SGS switch works?

I have a 95 z28 that i put in a 97+ Camaro dash in and it has a foglight switch and an SGS switch in the radio bezel. I hooked the foglight switch up for my fog lights and i was wanting to hook up the SGS switch as a kill switch for my power antenna. The SGS switch is weird in that if you push the switch it clicks but comes back up into the original position. Will this switch work to kill the power for my antenna wire? or will it just kill the power for a second then when the switch comes back up it'll restore the power? Anyone know.

It would be easy to test with a meter or test light, but it sounds like a momentary switch (and would not work for what you are intending).

Shoebox would you have a pin out or a diagram for the switch. I think it has 5 or 6 pins on the back. I guess i can do some trial and error and probably figure it out.

Yes, this is a momentary switch. Here are the connections

A= power
B= indicator
E= signal from pcm
F= equals ground

Don't know if that helps.

Well i found out i can take it apart and i can take my fog light switch apart. It looks like if i get a spare foglight switch i can put the SGS button on it and make it an on off switch like the fog light. This way i can have it power the antenna and not look like two foglight switches.
