What do yall think about Dex-Cool vs. traditional coolant? I've heard some bad stories about that stuff...I'm thinking about flushing mine and putting the old stuff in. Anyone here done that?

If you have the extra cash go ahead and do it, its a great idea. I used to do all kinds of flush-n-refills. When doing the coolant flush with GM's Dex Cool it always seemed to have something, non-coolant, in it. Plus its cheaper to buy and flush later And the color is WAY cooler

to be honest, whatever the car has in it is what should stay in it. i have dex-cool and have had the radiator drained 2 times. i work at a chrysler dealer and the coolants are not compatible. so i do not flush the system i just drain and fill every year. gm put it in there so i will keep putting it in there
