Unhappy Cruise Control not working 02 SS

Any help would be great! I have an 02 SS that cruise did not work when bought. I have checked fuses and none blown. Also the keyless entry will not work but i doubt its a related problem. I used to get a p code pointing to a problem with the clutch position switch, but I have replaced the switch and ocassionaly still get this code and ses light. The switch was a new one that I took out so I am certain that its not just a bad switch. I am daily driving it and cruise would be very nice. Any regular trouble spots to look for? Stuff that always goes wrong?

is the sensor adjusted correctly?
I think it just grounds one of the pins at the computer, you could test that wire to see if signal is being sent.

light works fine, just rechecked it, and when I installed the switch I checked for any adjustment but didn't see any. snaps into a fixed mounted bracket that also holds the clutch starter switch ,one above the other. I checked ohms on the switch I put in and the one I took out, both had continuity in one position, but not the other. (can't remember which way in or out). I was wondering if the electric cruise control motor under the hood could be out. I know I need to take my Digital Multimeter and do more checking, but not sure how to check a system that only engages at like 45 and above while standing still in my garage. How can I fool it into trying to kick in to check voltage while sitting still? It wont send power to the motor untill it engages will it?

Haynes says you can test the vehicle speed sense by lifting the front of the car and testing for a voltage change as you spin one of the wheels. But you said your code was about the clutch sensor?
this is for a 99 computer so it might be diff.
blue 32: clutch pedal sensor (gray)
Red 13: cruise control enable (white)
Red 37: cruise control inhibit (dk green)
