Crashed it... totalled?

Insurance adjuster won't come out until monday.
Both airbags went off.. windshield busted. Hood, front bumper... no fluids leaking and haven't gotten the hood up yet. Passenger side door is a little funky, it opens but it seems tweaked and not lined up right.

Any idea on repair costs? Look totaled to you?

It will buff out... Sorry to see that happen to your car. If theres no frame damage then you could just fix it up yourself. I'd assume since the airbags went off the insurance company would want to total it since its a 14 year old car.

Good Luck!

Its totaled. All I had to see was the air bags. Windshield was probably broken because of frame damage.

Was thinking it probably was... my first car... I've had it about 7 or 8 years now. Still only had 67k on it =[
I think the windshield broke from part of the dash hitting it when the airbag went off though.

Was driving along great highway (highway area along the beach in San Francisco) and being such a nice day there was a lot of people parking along the side. That coupled with a funeral parade passing by there was cars darting in and out in front of us.. car directly in front of me slammed on their brakes and I wasnt able to stop nearly as quickly as them.

Taht actually looks like an easy fix. Probably under $1000 if no damage behind the bumper and not including paint. The fenders are probably pushed back making the door hit. The bumper cover is an easy fix, less then 30 minutes to change it out. I just changed mine out. If you are going to do the work on it try D+H in chicago, IL. Great prices on replacement body parts. i just got both front fenders and a front bumper cover for just a hair over $200 shipped to NH. I would have the frame checked before starting anything though.

If the airbags go off in an older car...consider it done. You have to go through an expensive process to replace airbags etc.

Sorry.

Theres alot more hidden that your not seeing. The damage is similar (probably happened 10MPH less than my wreck) and it was atleast 5g to fix, frame was bent, etc.

I don't see any frame damage, but don't hold me to that. I'm almost positive its a total, but you could always buy it back, then use the money to repair it. You can get pieces and parts off the classifieds for cheaper than OEM.

If you have time, take off the front bumper and see whats bent under there. From what I can tell, if everythings perfect under there, you just need a new dash, new windshield, new hood, new pass. side fender, (maybe new drivers side, not a good pic), new front cover, new head light, the fog lights might be damaged (or you can just delete them). Including paint and having it all done by a shop, I'd say its going to be probably 3000$-4000$.

Looks like an inexpensive fix... and um. remove the airbags.... problem solved... Nothing looks bent. the core support looks fine, and the fender supports look fine. looks like a bunch of body panel issues. the Windshield breaking could be due to your passenger side airbag. I have seen it happen.
