CRAP - water in driver side signal light, fills up, burns out bulbs - wtf
I went through 3 light bulbs in a matter of weeks...........I see that there is a huge puddle of water in my driver side signal light................Everytime it rains, it fills up, and burns out my bulb. How do I fix this? There is no gasket really around it, right? Maybe I will caulk it around the outside of it....Does water come in from the top do you think?....Right now, there is still a massive puddle in it.........How the hell do I get rid of it? Maybe drill a hole at the bottom so it can drain? I swear, there is more to be ghetto rigged on this car than my '78 T/A...............my mother and father's '66/'70 chargers have less rattles/squeaks, less water leaking problems, better fit and finish of body panels..................GM........

Just replace the housing. I guarantee you that when you remove the housing, you will see that you have a hole burned into it. The problem is caused by the intense heat that the daytime running lights emit...trust me...I had the same problem.

So it leaks from the headlight housing above it? It seems like this is the case, BOTH SIDES DO THIS NOW THAT I LOOK, but one side has more gap between the gaskets..........now what do you mean housing exactly? I can't even see down there...............It's a "signal light housing" (for parts ordering purposes I need a name) then? I will try to caulk around the headlights then, and drill a hole at the bottom of the signal housing? Thanks for the ideas, I somehow knew this wasn't a unique problem on my car........
