Clutch Anticipate Switch after A4 to M5 Conversion
I need help with the PCM pinouts. My car is a 2001 Camaro and I did a conversion from an A4 to M5. Everything works fine, the only problem is the Clutch Anticipate Switch is not put in and my Cruise Control does not work, I also get a P0704 DTC code.
I know how the wiring for the switch goes but my question is the following:
From the clutch anticipate switch goes a GRY wire to the PCM Blue connector Pin #32. Now, do A4 Camaros come from the factory with a wire in that PIN and where does it go or do I have to put in a whole new wire?
And if a car is converted from an A4 to an M5, does it need the PCM Blue connector PIN# 33, which goes to the TCC Brake Switch, which is also used for Cruise Control functions?
If PIN# 33 is not needed for a manual car, can I just switch it to PIN# 32 and use that same wire to connect to the Clutch Anticipate Switch since its right next to the brake pedal and the TCC Brake Switch?
