Car temperature climbing in hills LT1
if I accelerate the car hard lets say WOT the temperature will climb and then go back Down. The car runs at 180° but it pass Half of the temperature went it happens. The fans are direct. Im thinking maybe a headgasket died or Waterpump is dying?

Re: Car temperature climbing in hills LT1
If one interprets "Half of the temperature" as the midpoint of the gauge, that's exactly where GM designed the engine to operate.
Since you had a recent problem with the steam return hose, is it possible you did not refill the cooling system properly and failed to correctly bleed the air out of the system?
If one interprets "The fans are direct" to indicate the fans are wired to run all the time, it's possible the engine is running too cool at times, and of course the fans are fighting with the thermostat.

Re: Car temperature climbing in hills LT1
It was happening before the Steam return line. I was thinking maybe it was a Headgasket failure. But temperature stays at 180° and went is really hot outside the engine stays at 190°. Ill do the test If the engine is sending compression to the radiator just to be sure.
4 Days after Headgasket change the engine did overheat because of the broken radiator. Maybe because the Gasket was New it didn't got damage? I've been running the car for over 8 months after it Overheated.
