So, I wonder how we came up with coolant on the store shelves that are compatible with both types? Either the chemical reaction mentioned is not a concern (or unproven it is), is being ignored or they did something with the mixture to render it benign. The sludge problem with Dex-Cool has always been an issue with air mixing with the coolant-not the two types of coolant mixing. A poorly sealed system will have problems with sludge.
