Camaro throwing code P0410
Anybody familiar with this code? Is this common to the Fbod?
2002 Camaro SS
37,xxx miles
Check Engine Soon (dashlight on)
Autozone Scan Results:
P0410
Troubleshooting P0410
Domestic brand
Secondary air injection system fault
Probable causes:
Circuit relay defective or open fuse
Connector and wiring
Air pump defective or hoses blocked
----------------------------------
Anyone with experience know the most likely scenario?
I figured I'd ask the experts before pursuing.
Thanks.

From the GM tech website, for the 2002 LSx series of engines, this code sets when the PCM turns on the AIR pump, and the O2 sensors do not show a lean condition. In effect, its turning on the pump, and looking for the extra air to show up in the exhaust. If it doesn't see it, it infers there is no air flow or inadequate air flow.
Could be something obstructing the flow in the lines, like a seized check valve, or possibly a leak in the piping, possibly at a rubber hose. I don't know the details of the LS1 AIR system though. In the LT1's the check valves can stick closed, or they can leak, causing the rubber hoses in the system, closest to the check valves to melt.
It could be a faulty relay or a faulty pump, but each of those would also set a code - P0412 for the relay, P0418 for the pump circuit.
