a/c low pressure port where you add freon the shcrader valve
well i dont know ifyou guys remember my a/c thread about it not blowing cold air consistently. but i took it to my mechanic today and he says that it was real low on freon and that the schrader valve was bubbling and thats where he thinks the freon is leaking out from. so he tried to add freon to it and the valve isnt opening correctly to let freon in it. my question is, is the valve replaceable without replacing the whole low pressure a/c line? or does the whole line have to be replaced with the valve? how much is this line and has anyone had this problem before?

so you think if he replaced the valve it would take freon and not leak and fix my problem. hes thinkking thats where the freon is leaking cause it was bubbling at the valve? does it mean its leaking when it bubbles like that. whats weird is that i asked him if he had problems last time with the vallve when he went to charge the system and he said no problems at all. but he was saying that if dirt get stuck in the valve or something it cause it to get stuck and leak or not take freon like this valve is doing. hopeful he fixes it, im wiaitn on his call bakc.
