A/C Experts
Ok, heres the story. I have put a vacuum on the system and it held for a half hour without letting any vacuum go. So I dont have any leaks. I replaced the Accumulator because it seemed like it was freezing up so I thought it wasnt taking the moisture out. NO HELP. My a/c will come on for a bit, then get warm, then a little cold, then warm and it will keep doing this until it just quits. Then I have to pull the fuse to get it to start again. The psi is 210 on top, and 35 on bottom. I thought maybe that was too low so I added. No help, I heard maybe 210 is too high so I let some out to about 195. No help. The compressor is good because it is getting pressure. This has me sooooo lost. Any help would be great. What happens when the temp switch goes bad. I would think if that was bad, the system wouldnt run at all in the first place.

you actually might be low, what kind of outside temps do you have there right now? if it is over 80*, you should see closer to 250-300 psi on the high side, similar on the low side, 35-45psi

Charge untill it hits 250 PSI on the high side and you hear the high speed fans come on. MAKE SURE that the high speed fans come on at that point and it's pulling good air. Once the high fan is on watch the pressure drop. Keep it right around 250. Not over. Over 250 is too much.
