C-5 conversion fitment...NJ

What's up guys and gals
I just wanted to know if anybody in New Jersey has the C5 brake conversion using Bob Bishop's brackets that I can test fit my 18" Simmons wheels on. I am unsure if it would be the same for LS1 spindles and LT1's. So any input would be appreciated.

Bob's brackets will fit the LT1 and the LS1's steering knuckle. It bolts onto the back of the knuckle in the same location where the wheel bearing assembly is. Unless you were part of the last group purchase, it doesn't matter anyway. Bob has decided to quit making those brackets.

I know where the bracket bolts to, what is involved in the installation, and I am one of the 22 to get the brackets. I just want to know for sure if the brakes will fit before i cut off the mounting ears to mount the caliper.

You'll have to cut off the ears on the knuckles where the factory calipers bolt to.

Nobody in New Jersey has this mod!!! If not can someone with this mod check the clearance from the caliper to the hub. Lay a straight edge across the face of the caliper or outer most point that would hit the back of the rim face across to the hub where the wheel studs are and tell me how far the caliper sticks out past the hub.
Thank you
Derek
