Bose radio

Morning everyone.im not sure if this is the right area for this if not I'll move it.ok finally after along time and finally I repeat finally getting my car to run I now have another problem lol. The stock radio doesn't get any channels on am and fm cd work, it's all static.im gonna check the trunk area for antenna,and all wiring.anything else I should check?

Make sure the antenna wire didn't work its way out on the back of the radio. Probably more likely.

In the future, PLEASE delete duplicate posts IMMEDIATELY. We basically wasted our time providing responses to your other post, which you then deleted, along with DelSoto's response. Or, once a post gets a response, leave it, and send me a PM asking me to merge the two threads. That way, no one will feel like they wasted their time.

Ok just checked all wiring from antenna to the radio, radio is fully connected fuse is good and still all static on the am fm stations,any thoughts on this besides a new radio? Thanks everyone

If you have the "fixed" antenna (as opposed to "power"), did you make sure the antenna mast was securely screwed on the base.

It is the fixed antenna and first thing I checked then fuse even tho it comes on just checked.and pulled out the radio all connections and input for antenna are there? Lol after all the help and hell to getting running now radio. Gotta have a love hate relationship with cars. Thanks again injuneer
