Red face B&M ripper install - went ok, but small quiet rattle/noise?? Normal?

I am a newb at installing things, but the B&M ripper I put in went well......sealed it right, made sure the round gasket was there for the shifter to drop into, got everything back together, drove it, seems nice.....but sometimes I will hear a very small rattle...........Everything is tight, and I don't get it. Is it normal to have a slight rattle or noise from it? I doubt it, but nothing seems like it's falling apart, it's very quiet. Maybe it has to wear in, or it's just not a quiet operting shifter? I hope nothing is wrong........Anyone have any experices with the ripper? I used stock washer placement, and no gear stoppers. B&M said they are not needed really, and they are phasing them out in their shifters.

Most aftermarket shifters have a slight "rattle" to them. My Pro 5.0 has done it for the 6 months I've had it.

On my B&M shifter, I had to use my herculean strength to tighten the shifter handle or it would rattle. Once good twist with two hands and no more problem. Course, I don't think the thing is removable from the stick now, but it's not a big deal.

No rattles from mine. Stock position and no stops.
