anyone know install cost or close for..1.6 rr, hardened pushrods,lt4 valve springs

exactly what the title says, i am looking into putting 1.6rr, lt4 valve springs, and hardened pushrods in my z. I don't want to do a cam now, because that is a whole lot more $ for install. I don't think the engine has to be pulled for the rr.... etc.... that's the only thing I can think of to do to bring down et times for now before heads and cam. is there anything else I could do??? thanks guys

If you really want to cut et times, a stall with slicks will do wonders. You've pretty much got all your basic bolt-on's, so you don't have that much left to do before diving down into the engine. You could always look into suspension parts too. LCA's and SFC's will help a lot at the track as well. I mean, if you really want the RR's and pushrods, then go for it, but just plan out everything in advance. Go ahead and look into cams and see which one you think you're going to run in the future. If you don't plan on running a big cam that really requires a lot of head work, you could always do the RR's, pushrods, and cam at the same time, saving you some money, and still being able to drive fine w/ stock unported heads. Then when it was time to do heads after getting more money together, you would be able to do it. Basically, just put a lot of thought into what you want in the future. That'll help decide what you need to be doing now.

But about the pricing of the RR's, springs, and pushrods. I would guess it would run in the few hundred's to pay for installation. I've never really asked, but I'm assuming it would be around that area.

Self Aligning 1.6RR don't require hardened pushrods.

Non-SA 1.6RR need hardened pushrods and guidplates.

Which ones will you be using? SA or Non SA?

As for the RR itself, will it be 3/8 or 7/16??? Because 7/16 will require 7/16 rockers studs.

As far as droping ET, have you considered drag radials?
