Any advice on changing oil pressure sensor?

Re: Any advice on changing oil pressure sensor?
here is what I did (don't laugh)
You have to get someone with really skinny arms (a kid or a woman) to get it threaded by hand and put the socket over it. Once that is done you can tighten it down and be done. I had my 10 yr old nephew almost get his whole head and shoulders back there. Worked like a charm

The sensor mounts into a fitting (actually 2 fittings) that's threaded into the back of the block, just below the EGR valve. You can't see it without using a mirror. The fitting has the sensor come out at an angle pointing in the 2 o'clock position (as you face the windshield standing in front of the car). You need a special socket to mount it as the sensor is deeper than a standard deep socket. Most auto stores carry the socket. If the new sensor doesn't come with any sealant applied to the threads, apply a small amount of teflon sealer to the threads.

Thanks thats good advice. I can get my hand back there and feel but I can't quite tell where it threads in. I will use a mirror to get a better idea.
