another question: Why are brakes jumpy?

well my brakes kinda grab on and off when braking fairly hard it's not real bad, but i don't like it. I think the rotors are warped. What's it sound like to you? How much would it cost to get it fixed? Do I take them to a machine shop and have them turned?

Does it feel like the pedal is shaking, or moving in and out? That's a sign of warped rotors. Around here you can get 'em turned for like 7 dollars, so it's not that big of a deal.
