Hi Guys!

I know this is stupid but I need to know which connector on a 1997 Z28 is the Low side connector so that I can put in some refrigerant?

Thanks Lee!

That's right, passenger side, between dryer and passenger Low pressure pipe is bigger then high-pressure one and has a pressure sensor on it near port. It should be parts 25-27 on this drawing from shoebox site http://shbox.com/1/ac_system.jpg High pressure port is near a radiator (parts 4-6). Do you want to charge it as liquid or gas? Some suggest liquid charging, some telling that it can damage your compressor. I charged as liquid, compressor still working. May be it's miracle

on liquid charging, be sure to introduce the refrigerant slowly into the system as to allow it to evaporate before it reaches the compressor. otherwise if the refrigerant is still in a liquid state when it reaches the compressor, it will most certainly damage it.
