Re: ABS Question
When i start the car sometimes the light is on for a moment then turns off and then i park somewhere and do something else for while and restart the car it then shows the whole time while im driving abs inop and then the brake pedals feel slightly mushy. But when the light is off the brakes become extra sensitive with a slight kick back when pushed. Ive check the fuses and the relay center to see if anything is amisss and then also Ive had the rear brakes and front breaks replaced. Im not sure what to do anymore.

Re: ABS Question
When you turn the key on, the light should stay on for about 3 seconds, then shut off.
If the ABS INOP light comes on at any other time, a code will be stored in the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) to indicate what caused the light to come on. Getting the EBCM scanned would be the first step. Unfortunately, it takes a specialized ABS scanner, and the most likely place to find one is a dealer or a good brake shop. You can't use a simple PCM scanner.
For a quick check - you might get lucky - check the harness connectors for the ABS wheel speed sensors, one on each front hub and one on top of the differential housing. You could also try cleaning the sensor on top of the diff, and maybe blowing the dust out of the front hub sensors. The front sensors are integral with the wheel bearing/spindle cartridge and are not separately replaceable.
By any chance does the "BRAKE" light come on at the same time as the ABS INOP light?
