94 z28 infant baby seat

i am tring to decide if i can keep my camaro or not can only afford for me to have one car. does anyone know of any trusted branded rear facing car seats fit into a 94 camaro z28 safely and correctly i don't know want to put my baby in any kind of danger to keep my car. have had alot of people tell me to put it on the hump and use both seat belts but to me that don't seem very safe

Do a search on Child Belt Kit GM pt # 12455614 . Can't seem to find any pics, sounds like you have to drill some holes to mount the kit so you can use the top tether on the car seat. The tether became standard equipment in either '99 or 2000 on the Camaro's. From what I saw kit is running $67-85.00. Have you tried a dealer ?
