5000 grand for MODS !!
Ok , I have a 2002 Camaro SS with only 2800 miles on her, with some slight mods , air box , chip , etc. What would you do if you had $ 5000 grand to put to mods ???? Im thinking full exhaust and maybe heads, cam . Or a full exhaust and a good rear end . I guess basically what im asking is WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK IN MY CAR ! I want it to be reliable also . No NOS .
Thanks for the suggestions , I cant wait to get some more ideas for my car .

My opinion would be to save most of it...go buy some wheels or something. I'm going to be demodding since I grew tired of hearing the exhaust early in the morning every morning.

yeah with 5000 grand I would certainly be looking more at realestate than modding my car..
now with 5 grand.. what to do..
and you stated "chip" for your car... wtf do you mean by that? Our cars cant be "chipped".. you can get a programmer but not a chip..
true duals and full exhaust.. and then a set of decent headsand a cam.. done.. reliable? ha.. its a modded car.. no such thing..

And a heavily modded car can be reliable. Some people don't think a heavily modded cars quirks, such as vibration, wierd noises, bad idle are normal and automatically consider it unreliable. There is a limit, of course. I've never seen a 1k hp car that's reliable. 5-600 seems attainable now though, if you do it right.
Anyway, do the boltons first. Intake, exhaust, headers, gears, shifter/ shift kit, tires, etc. When you're done with all that see how much money you have left.

I would invest it in something that will appreciate...
A car isn't an investment, unless its the right car.
No offense, but most of us, myself included, don't own the right car.
Nor will we before we die.

My advice to you is to do a search on this board. You will find every answer you are looking for, every part that you would consider putting on the car and just about every gain from each part that is out there. You will def find out what parts to buy and which ones to stay away from. Only takes time! Take your time, do your research, and do it right the first time.
