1997 Z28 cooling problem

Re: 1997 Z28 cooling problem
first thing I'd do is check all your wires... my center console cig lighter was shorting out all the time..after 3 fuses and some amateur hour tape jobs.. I figured the socket was bad or something...I pulled it and taped everything off...someday I'll fix it properly!
My truck had a wire stripped UNDER the battery that was f'n things up... battery died in -40 degree weather and I must have damaged it while I was trying not to die in the cold...
just start tracing wires and especially near areas you have recently done things!

The power to the cooling fan motors comes directly off the red + terminal box, and that wire is protected by a fusible link. The fuse in the panel protects the 12V to the signal side of the fan relays. The relay fuse also supplies the EGR vacuum solenoid, the EVAP purge solenoid, and tht DRL's. And its not a 25A fuse, according to your Owner's Manual.
Sounds like a short at the relays.
