Or 96&97 due to the fact that the SS was back. Those have got to be my favorite years for the SSs, it seems like they lost some of that aggression when the LS1 SS came out.

95 best for LT1's.

Mine had the hardened pushrods, but I swapped them out for 1 piece hardened trick flow pushrods. The stockers were a two piece welded design, crap in my opinion.

The T56 in the 95 is also rated for more torque than the 93's T56.

Don't forget the '96's and '97's were dual cat vs. single cat before. Don't know if that makes much of a difference but they are rated 10 HP higher from the factory (285 HP vs. 275 HP for 1995 and before).

The 93 s did have T-Tops as an option.. They are just not as plentiful as the later years.

it got the 4l60e transmission which replaced the 4l60.
Big win there

It also got an optional keyless entry system, better sound system,
You sure about that? Many 94s have the same 3 speaker system as the 93s, wasn't the 3->5 speaker a mid year option?

sequential fuel injection which was a huge improve ment over multi-port.It gave the camaro a smoother idle and also helped reduce emissions.
What? I have NEVER noticed a difference in idle in any year LT1 that was stock cammed... I have driven many, and have many friends with these cars of all years. Also I have never heard of anyone being restriced by the fuel injection setup on a 93, as in they had to switch to a 94+ to get it to run right, Make power, et al.

WRONG! Mine was OBDII. They switched to OBDII later half production. The earlier ones were OBDI

I'm pretty sure the 94+ 6-speeds have 3.42's stock.

94+ autos had either 2.73's or 3.23's.

All 95's are OBD I.. They just have an OBD II 16 pin plug under the dash, which leads to the confusion..

Actually, all 1995 cars were OBDI with an OBDII hook up. All cars made in 1995 for the 96 years were OBDII
