You can't go wrong with an AC-Delco filter.

It should be underneath on the driverside between the door and the rear tire.

I have a 95 Z28 and they did not make much changes between the two years.

They are pretty easy to change out yourself. It should not take more than 5 to 10 minutes. Just be carefull when you remove the fuel lines because the residule fuel will drain out, so you may want to have a small plastic bowl when you change it out.

the answer is yes under the rear passenger seat on the driver side. follow the fuel lines along the car and it's the small can in the line.

every f-body 93-02 fuel filter is pretty much the same and in the same location.

make sure your prepared it's going to spit gas at you.

Vent the pressure slightly prior to removal by opening the gas cap.....key off engine off of course.

Two 17mm wrenches will make light work out of it.

Good luck and don't worry about comments from the likes of fellas with "GlowShift Triple Gauge Pods".....:

Dig!,

Yep... but why rag on a guy who asks a question you happen to know the answer to. Not very friendly. We all had to start somewhere.

Definitely use a line wrench (aka flare nut wrench). Using a regular wrench, it's too easy to wreck things.

If you don't have access to a lift or pit, I'd just get a shop to change it. Getting gas all over your face, eyes, arms....it's not fun.

A shop would take maybe 10 minutes to do it. It's not going to cost a lot to have done.

And people like this is why others don't want to make a post looking for answers, because they might get ridiculed.....

No question is stupid or foolish, just been asked a thousand times in the past, as we all have had to ask at one time or another.....

Make sure you bleed off the pressure at the fuel rail and remove the fuel cap. Should be very little fuel drain when removing the filter.
