If you have to keep buying them, just go to an LTCC swap. LTCC ignition $400, used coils $100 and coil brackets can be made or bought cheap. So for the additional cost of 1 opti you'll have a badass ignition and the only thing your opti will be used for is the sensor.

I was thinking about doing that but since my problems have all been failed sensors I just want to stick to opti. no way I want to pay 400 bucks and get everything installed and my sensor fails in my opti. I would blow my car up

I had an Accel for 13 months. Encoder failed. No return to Summit after 1 year. So, I purchased a all ignition.com unit for 300 dollar. The better unit. Still running today after 2 years.
