Occasionally no start/stalling, Running a little rough
I got a 93 z28, the other day I went to leave my house and it wouldn't start right away, after a couple of tries it started and ran for a few minutes, I then left made it down the street and it sputtered and stalled, would not restart. I pushed it back to my house trying to start it a couple of times and it wouldn't. Got it back to my house and it started. I left it for the night. Today I go back out to try it, fired right up and ran, shut it off for a few minutes then it would not start. I had my brother listen for the fuel pump and we could not here it. Then after 6 or so tries it started and ran, however somewhat rough, which I had noticed more of the last couple times I drove it. I replaced the pump and pump relay a couple years ago, but maybe have 1000 miles on it since because of a bad opti that I couldn't pinpoint and just fixed about 2 months ago. Anyone had similar symptoms? I feel like it could be a sending unit issue but not sure.

Does it start a bit quicker if you cycle the key back and forth several times between "run" and "off", before you turn it to "start"?
Sounds like you need to check the fuel pressure. Might be a good idea to scan it for codes as well, since a problem with the low resolution cam position signal from the optical sensor in the Opti will set a code (DTC 16) that prevents the engine from starting but does not turn on the SES light.
