No start after opti install

Re: No start after opti install
I'm having the same problem. I went to change water pump and decided to put new cap and rotor on. So I put it all back together and it has spark but doesn't start. Well decided to get 3 different caps and rotors and after putting and all of them taking down and putting it together each time double checking everything and I'm still without a car so if you have any clue I could use the help too. Would really appreciate it

Re: No start after opti install
If you only changed the cap/rotor, you should not have affected the signals from the optical cam position sensor. Since you indicate you have spark, the signals are reaching the PCM, and then the ICM.
Where did you check for spark? At the coil wire? At the individual cylinders?
Did you plug the coolant temp sensor back in after changing the water pump?
Have you scanned it for codes? ..... checked the fuel pressure?
What year is the car? Always required, since their are differences from year to year in the LT1's.
