Hi i recently purchased a 2002 z28..... the car starts perfect all the time and even after sitting for two days..... my issue comes in after i pump gas no matter how much the car starts but kinda chokes around 300-400 rpm for a few seconds and then is fine normal fuel psi is 75-80 constant not sure if thats high cant find spec

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Also new to the site so any friends would be great to

The fuel pressure should be 58psi.

Why do you "pump gas"? Do you mean you try and rev the engine to keep it running after it "starts perfect"?

Hahaha heck no thats the worst i mean at the gas station. After i pump gas. So 70-75 is super high then? Any ideas on an issue

Leaky fuel injector, maybe sticking? When the engine has just been shut off, with the fuel lines still pressurized, maybe gas is loading up one cylinder? Just a guess, I suppose if you had a scanner you could see what cylinder might be misfiring.
