Aeromotive 13106 FPR Problems...Maybe?
As the title says, i have just installed a Aeromotive 13106 Fuel Pressure Regulator along with 30# SVO injectors on my 95 LT4/LT1. After hooking a fuel pressure gauge to the Schroeder valve to test my fuel system, here is the results.
With the key on but not running - 30 to 35 psi
Turn the key off and pressure drops instantly.
Motor starting pressure jumps up to 60 to 70 psi but instantly drops back to 10 or so.
I have not messed with the factory setting on the FPR but is it possible that this FPR is bad right from the factory? Could where i havent adjusted i yet have anything to do with these erratic readings? Could there be another issue causing these readings? I have checked all vacuum lines and intake for leaks and have found none....Any help is appreciated.

Also, i replaced the fuel pump this last spring but the car sat until just a few weeks ago and i replaced the fuel filter just 2 weeks ago. Is it possible that the new fuel pump went bad from sitting?

I am hoping instructions came with it, but if they didn't, just go online and you can view a PDF file on how to install and adjust it. I just got done viewing it. Go to Google, and type in Aeromotive 13106 Fuel Pressure Regulator, and scan down until you see the one that says it is a PDF file.

Numerous people have had problems with that AFPR. Do a "search". I would personally avoid it. But since you have it, adjust the fuel pressure and see if it's better.
