2002 Camaro keeps dying.
Car runs for about 10 seconds and then just dies. Changed MAF sensor , ignition control module , crank position sensor , checked fuel pressure. With key on , it goes to 50 psi then drops to 42. Start car and fluctuates between 40 and 42 for about 10 seconds , when car dies the gauge goes to 50 and dies. Any ideas ?

Re: 2002 Camaro keeps dying.
Given the description of the parts you replaced, this appears to be a 3.8L V6, and not the LS1 V8. Is that correct? You need to provide basic info about the car. Is the engine stock or modified? How many miles on the car?
Have you scanned it for codes? Any indication of problems with the electronic throttle actuation system?
How long has it been having this problem? Were any changes made just before the problem started? Is the fuel in the tank fresh? How old are the O2 sensors?

This is my sons car and he said the gauges would stop reading and come back on about a month ago. Then it was harder to start and run a little rough at start up. Then this happened to him after driving for about 15 minutes. Any input is greatly appreciated ! THANKS.

Re: 2002 Camaro keeps dying.
Sounds like a low voltage problem. What scantool was used to get the U1016 code? What module was being scanned? That indicates that a module was unable to talk to the pcm.
You may have a bad battery or ground cable.
Or it could be a shorting alternator. Try disconnecting the large cable from the alternator and trying again.
