what is you opinion on the sts turbo kit thinking of a turbo build later
What's your opinion on the sts turbo kits not the base kit they have a upgraded kit its a 76mm front and 96mm rear single turbo bigger piping along with and they said there kit with boost control would do 15psi. is any one out there running the sts kits base or a custom kit let me know what you think and what kind of gains you saw. My T/A is almost done getting tuned in miami now,I've got the bug, haven't even drove the car yet and I already want to make it faster. Thanks for your input

sorry for the confusion i didnt word it right its a rear mount kit like yours. the turbo size is 76mm on the intake side and 96mm on the exhaust side.

Oh you mean .96 A/R exhaust housing.
It has to do with how quickly the volute chamber scrolls down. A smaller A/R means boost comes on sooner and faster, but there's more of a flow limitation at the top end.

Personally, I never liked them. It always seemed to me that the STS turbo systems were inferior to the standard front mount systems.
