Project: Boosting Rocky!

well i said i wasn't going to make a project thread due to building this car for grudge reasons(its a lt1 it has to be slow right? ) but since i have completely gone budget on it, then i guess it would be cool for you guys to see whats going on and maybe give me some more motivation to work on it. i planned on letting the car sit for a few years while trying to build it(way to much money for one year) but some things have changed in my life and i want to drive my car lol. the car ran really well last season(AI200cc heads and big old cam) never took it to the track but figured it would have went bottom 11s. but you guys know how it goes, it just wasnt enough lol. so i jumped on the the whole boost band wagon. i purchased a complete turbo system from Realquick aka lt1boost over on ltx tech. you can see his work at lt1boost.com i believe, he does awesome work. so i have a really good kit that should make some awesome power(with the right turbo) i planned on modifying it a tad(to receive a t6) but now i am saying screw it lol. i started at the end of last season collecting parts and what not, Johnny hooked me up on a whole front end for the beast. i will upload some pics and add more to this, but i have to get going.

Re: Project: Boosting Rocky!

Forgot I have a few pics of the motor(short block) so I might as well tell you guys about that. I feel this thing has some great parts in it and has already proven at 850 hp. Its a 383 4 bolt(howard billet caps) motor, has a callies Dragon slayer crank(yeah I know racecar right lol) callies h beam rods, and diamond forged pistons(deep dish pizzas ) I planned on going AI TFS topend with vic jr single plane... but now I got stock heads and using my old intake. Lmao. So this motor should be able to take whatever I throw at it. Here are some pics
