Paxton sn93 sensor question.

Paxton sn93 sensor question.
Hopefully this is an easy question. I have this sensor screwed into the passenger side block that is right above spark plugs 6 and 8. It has 2 wires connected to it's own wiring harness that goes in between the stock wiring harness by the pcm. I have no idea what this part is but it's burnt from being to close to the headers, it needs to be replaced, and I think it's part of the supercharger kit but I'm not sure. I bought the car with everything on it about 15 years ago. Searched online and forums but can't find this anywhere! Any help would be great.

Above plugs 6 & 8 means it's in the head. That would be a port into the head's water jacket. (just like the driver's side head between 1 & 3) It sounds as though someone is using head water temp for something. (I use that port for a high water temp warning buzzer if the electric water pump fails.)

Re: Paxton sn93 sensor question.
Thanks. Yeah I think it's some sorta temp sensor but I can't find it anywhere on the internet so I can replace it. I found one temp sensor between plugs 1 & 2 for the temp guage and then the temp sensor in the water pump for the pcm but I have no clue what the sensor is between plugs 6 & 8.lol. It's driving me crazy..!!

I noticed your info list shows "fan temp control". If this means an aftermarket device, then the additional sensor may be for that control. (the 1 wire sensor between 1 & 2 is for the dashboard gauge only. The 2 wire waterpump sensor is the only one the PCM uses for engine management.)
