How much vacuum should my car be pulling? See sig below.

before I put the procharger on the it was pulling about 10-12 max on idle. Now with the procharger installed it pulls 15 max. Is this a good thing or bad thing for a FI car?

I get around 18-20 usually. I was between 15 and 18 when the car was stock. My Camaro manual says that around 20 means a healthy engine with no mods.

Cam is going to play a huge part in idle vacuum.

Mine pulls about 3 psi @ idle. 13 psi best @ some cruz speeds. Had to go with a seperate vac pump for brake booster. Hope this helps.B.97ss 383 - D1 procharge mm6 trans,

Your idle rpm will also affect how much vacuum you pull.

9-10" on a good day. Cam and idle plays a part in it all along w/ tuning too.

14 to 15 at idle is typcially for mine. Mild turbo cam (.571/.566 lift, 218/224 dur @ .050, 112 LSA)
