I too have a 97 SS 383ci w/ F1A Procharger/ MM6. Did my own mount bracket and belt tensioner mechanism. I run a 12 rib 42 inch. No slip. At least 12 psi. I also went to Hse of Boost for parts. Had to cancel and go to Procharger direct for an offset 3.4 inch pulley. Machined it to fit with a very low cantilever crank drive. Belt alignment is critical for an efficient drive. I will never go back to Hse of Boost. Much better customer service with direct Procharger contact. Maybe a little more cash, but, I'm OK with it. Now I machine all my own mount brackets. Alum or steel does not matter. It is quite difficult to package all that stuff in a 4th gen motor compartment.
Most of my former friends tell me I've gone to far, but, I'd rather have my modded 97SS than a 69 Olds 442 for $42k. Much better performance. B.

Sorry, don't know the Motown web site. I like to experiment a lot. Not much into waxing, but, a clean car is nice to look at. If I had a numbers match classic, I would destroy it with modding. I still like the history of Detroit Iron. I lived it in the 60"s.
I will check the Motown Mus site out. You know I am always there to share ideas and tech. At one point almost providing custom stuff, but, no free on-offs on what I have done. Sorry. B.
