Bought a form a funnel, decided against it and tried to take it back. Manager says its a "special order part, not refundable" and when I told him I wasn't told so when I purchased it, he just shrugged. Wasn't professional, gave off a "I don't give an eff" attitude the whole time.
Crossland Real Estate in Austin, husband, wife combo. Husband likes to lecture, wife complains about hard work (opening portal). They sold a home fast for me about 4 years back so I gave them lots of good will. They lost it with double talk/bailing on a property management deal in the last minute a couple months back. Lucky for them real estate does well in Austin because I don't think they could get by in a tough market. I also used an 'inpector' of theirs that I trusted who missed some big things in a rental I bought for our inlaws. Stuff that can be dealt with, but stuff that a trained eye should have caught. I consider that one though partially my fault.
When they terminated a management deal with me, they offered the services of their people. I kindly told them I'd use my own. They're going to lose business for their people and the commission on a home purchase for my inlaws, but with the market here I doubt they care.

Dyson. $400 for a vacuum that works when it feels like it. Naturally, it was fine for the first 2 years while it was still under warranty. As soon as it was 2 years and 1 day old it started. The brushes don't stay down on the "carpet" setting so it doesn't pick up crap. I used to be able to adjust the setting when I turned the thing on and it would stay that way but now it won't stay at all. Biggest waste of $400 ever. I would rather spend $150 on a new vacuum every 2 years.

How long ago did you buy it? Dyson's warranty is 5 years.

It was only 2 years when I bought it. July of 2007. If it's 5 years, that's news to me... and happy news, at that! I will still never waste my money on one again though.
