Unhappy Sold the 1995 Camaro Z28

I have owned my 1995 Camaro Z28 since I bought it brand new in 1995, 18 years ago. Yesterday I said goodbye. It has moved on to a new owner. I hope they have as much fun as I had for all theses years. Goodbye old friend.

It was just time to let it go. It has been mostly stored in my garage for years. It was time to free up some space and let someone else enjoy it.

Ah Darn, Chris I wish you would of told me you were selling your car. I've been looking for a 4th gen, and mint ones are hard to find these days.

Chris, I know that feeling all to well. I sold the Chicken back in 2005, and it still sucks. Feels like someone took a part of YOU away, and you're missing something. It gets better, though.

At least you got to part with yours on your terms. My 98Z I bought new got t-boned June last year/totalled by a red light runner.

Re: Sold the 1995 Camaro Z28

I've owned my '96 Z28 for over 8 years and have thought of selling more than a few times. Mine is " a bit " uglier than yours, though. Still, with a low 13 second time slip it puts a grin on my face every time I drive it. 18 years sure is a long time, glad you got what you needed for yours, good luck on what comes next.

Re: Sold the 1995 Camaro Z28

I've had my Z since '99. So going on 14 years now. I've thought about selling it a few times to trade up to a Vette. Each time I think about it I back out.

I think the 4th gen F-body is easier to work on(drivetrain pull) than a C5/6 Vette without a shop lift. That and what I have is long paid for.....just sucks when I break some obscure interior part and can't get replacements.... discontinued.

As mentioned above, so true to get to part with it on your terms. Much better than having it wrecked or the like.

Know how you feel. I sold the '97Z in April 2012. The new owner brought the loan officer outside in the parking lot to show off what he just bought and I'm standing there thinking, "I just sold this? damn it looks good!"
