Question High pitched sound to drive dog nuts

My neigbors who live above me have this damn dog that constantly gallops back and forth, barks, scratches on the floor etc CONSTANTLY. Can any of you find a really high pitched sound file I can download and play on my computer speakers? I need something really shrill or just so high pitched that its difficult to hear. Thanks

Your speakers probably won't even put out a sound with that high of a frequency. The human ears can hear from 40-40000hz, and your speakers are most definitely not of that capability. A dog whistle whines well about 40000hz.

Actually it's 20-20000 hz average. Don't know what frequency dog whistles play.

Re: High pitched sound to drive dog nuts

The doggy treat is a good idea, but its a really big dog. Half pitbull half bulldog. (I'll try it anyway, and just say I saw rats outside if anyone finds out I did it ) I just found a really high pitched soundfile, so I'll leave it on all day tomorrow while I'm at my classes.

Re: High pitched sound to drive dog nuts

don't do any harm to the dog, its not the dogs fault, its the moron owners. Call your local SPCA and tell them you think your neighbors are abusing the dog for all the reasons you just said, I'll guarantee you they send someone out there.

Are you seriously thinking about poisoning that dog? If it were me and you did that to my dog I would put your *** in the hospital. Grdlock you need to grow up too.
