Well i bought a bottle of Southern Comfort last week, drank about half of it the night i got it, and in my drunken state i put the bottle back on top of the fridge without the cap on it. Well, its been sitting there since then, and im in need of a shot of something.
Is it still good, or will it go bad for some reason without the cap on it?

The alcohol will slowly evaporate, but its perfectly fine. The amount (%) of alcohol in there will inhibit the growth of any and all microorganisms, well known in beer brewing circles as well.
Booze is supposed to oxidize when left exposed. Fanatics have corks you can attach a pump on to pull out the air to prevent this. I've never been able to tell a difference. I guess those that say they can are related to the "golden ears" of the audio world.
