I was in the theater yesterday and saw a posted talking about how bringing video equipment into a theater is punishable as a felony, up to 10 years in jail, and a $250,000 fine.

Gotta love how the MPAA/RIAA lobbied for those changes. I love that bootlegging a movie is a more serious crime than rape.

Downloading from a torrent is NOT breaking the law IF you already have the original in your possession. Believe me..been there done that.

I use http://www.firstrowsports.tv to watch football and basketball while im at work, and theyve seized the url . www.firstrowsports.eu is still up however .

it does say i need some new plug in though

Dang, that means 99% of the population commits a felony when going to the movies. Every phone now a days has a video camera, is that not video equipment?

In Texas, sexual assault (not aggravated) is a second degree felony, carrying a sentence of up to 20 years. I'm no math whiz, but I'm pretty sure 20 > 10.
