AR guys look what i bought

I went out and picked this up today its my first AR an i will be breaking it in next weekend

It doesn't have a front or rear site, i am wanting to get a red dot optic for it tho

Its a 5.56, they had it on sale for 899.99 down from 949.99 out the door with 80 rounds of ammo and tax it came out to 1005

Gun retails on S&W's website for nearly 1500.00. I got mine a little cheaper as well, about $850, but you still got a good deal. You'll love it. It's one loud bitch, let me tell ya lol

You did the right thing. I had a bushmaster carbon that I eventually switched to metal upper and lower. The polymer just didnt hold up too well and it wasnt very reliable. New upper and lower and it runs great.

I have an M&P 15 that I bought in about '08 or '09 and have about 2500 trouble free rounds through it. Its my favorite ar and also my patrol rifle.

What kind of red dot are you looking for? I have a primary arms multi-reticle red dot and a 3x magnifier both with mounts that I'm looking to sell. The primary arms red dots look similar to aimpoints.
