I'm already in a frenzy looking for surfing gear and trying to learn everything I can. The instructor mentioned that I took to it pretty naturally (out of all the runs, I rode each all the way in except for one). I did hurt my lower back doing it, but I think stretching beforehand might prevent that in the future.

The instructor suggested a 9-foot longboard if I were to keep doing it. I've been doing a lot of research and it seems like there are tons of options. To compound the confusion, the best gear seems to shift based on geographic location. I've been eyeing a longer minimal/funboard or a "performance longboard" (something with smaller rails that's more maneuverable. Basically, I want to have fun with some maneuverability but still catch a lot of waves. I also don't want a board that I'll get bored with after a couple of months.

Also, how much does a wetsuit change the usable months at all? I'd be surfing primarily here in NY with some stints in LA and occasional trips to Hawaii. Not much really fills all the needs. Trying to stay below or right at $20k. She drove a WRX the other day and loved it.

I have a Deposit on an 09 WRX down in Texas we are going to pick up this weekend.

The 09s had a batch of bad engines out of the factory but was a small group of vins. Other than that they seem to be reliable and have great owner retention.

-Drove a Juke - its just awkward all around
-Veloster is a pretty cool little car for the money - but painfully slow (10sec 0-60)
-She misses the Mustang but is stuck on 4 doors now.

Thoughts?

Here's my requirements:

Small/Compact
Must be reliable and able to hit 100,xxx miles
Good gas mileage
RWD, agile, quick (0-60 less that 7 seconds)
Must have a third pedal!
2004 or newer

And most importantly, must come in at less than $15,000 and have under 70,000 miles. I'm looking at the 350Z, Miata MX-5, Solstice/Sky...or in a rare occasion an S2000.

Lets here some suggestions!

Now, I want to use thesethese bulbs they are 12v but I'm wondering if the 1000mA from the power supply will be enough or maybe too much. I plan to wire them in parallel by the way. Are you guys aware of the HUGE political issues in Mexico?

We are in the breach of a revolution, all of Mexicos TV networks are corrupted, papers, media, reporters etc.

If PRI wins, Mexico, as we know it ( the good parts anyway) will over forever.They will steal everything, Mexico has.

Are you guys aware of all this? Or political corruption has breached borders?
