My setup went like this:
Pacesetter coated long tubes with emissions fittings
Pacesetter off-road y-pipe
Y-pipe modified with two Pypes high flow mini-cats
Magnaflow catback
QTP stainless steel cutout welded into the i-pipe before the axle dump
Fel-Pro 1406 gaskets sprayed with Permatex copper spray
02 simulators
12" 02 extensions for front sensors
3" band clamps for the y-pipe to header connections and the y-pipe to i-pipe connection
1" header bolts as supplied by Pacesetter

Ceramic coated JBA shorty headers with ceramic coated y-pipe into stock cat (for now). Hooked up to a 3" TSP rumbler with a custom s-bend to fit the LT1. No tips yet, I am polishing and re-using the stock z28 tips.

This setup is too loud for me. The sound is great but it is just too loud. I haven't even gone over 3500 RPM's yet, but it's about as loud as a hog motorcycle above 1500 rpm.

Finally got around to uploading some soundclips of my stock down to the paper filter m6 94 TA.

Idle, free rev, normal driving and WOT on stock exhaust minus the muffler:
stock exhaust no muffler driving.mp3 - 0.52MB

Idle, free rev and normal driving with flowmaster super 44 on stock exhaust:
flowmaster super 44 idle rev drive.mp3 - 1.07MB

There's bunch of pops and spikes in the sound because my recording device has a very sensitive mic that doesn't handle loud bass too well. Hope you've got headphones or a good sound system to get a good idea of how the two setups sound.

Is there an LT1 sound archive to which I can add this?

Ok
So I have
Pacesetter Coated LTs (400 shipped)
Pacesetter ORY used (100 shipped)
SLP LM ebay (~380 shipped)

Here is the video before I put the CC306 in
Z28Pr0jekt's 1993 Z28

and after
Z28Pr0jekt's Cammed 93 Z28 idle and rev

I understand the LM is an acquired taste, personally I love it... it's a little bad after the cam due to the car running rich so it pops alot.. but WOT it sounds incredible.. be warned, if you have strict cops or laws.. one you prolly wont pass inspection and two you will get pulled over

as for the PS LTs.. for the price you really cant complain... mine are holding up OK. If I had the money I would have splurged on kooks but I didnt, as for plug access I absolutely love them.. I can get to 5 of the 8 plugs very easily and only 3 take some more effort definitely cut down the plug swap time 150%

-AS&M single-cat headers, with the driver's side collector modified to point straight back
-3" extensions from the collectors
-Borla 3" XR1 muffler bolted to each extension
-3" pipe toward the rear axle
-3" turndowns, pointed inward to try and keep the noise under the car (local track has strict noise level limits)

pacesetter long tube headders. off road y, tsp rumbler. 383 le2 with le3 heads. 11.5:1 compression. sound awsome but way to loud. i could not go around the block without getting a ticket. it is only slightly quieter than open headders. i need to find away to make it quieter and am thinking of adding some small mufflers ot the tailpipes.

Hooker Supercomp Longtubes, !AIR
2.5 Inch Custom O/R H
Over the axle 4x9 Magnaflows

Great sound, not too loud normal driving but extremely loud at WOT, lots of power, i wish it was a bit louder though, im one of them who likes annoyingly loud cars.

Havent seen many Dynomax set ups. Mine system consists of:

Hooker LT's
Mufflex Y
3" piping
3" Dynomax ultraflow PN17221 (I think).

Car has mods in sig.

After hearing good reviews on how good they flow on a turbo site I belong to I went with it, I even run one on my turbo van (same exact muffler). Its a single exit V-6 look.

Enjoy, let me know what you think.

Jeff

What's wrong w/ the clip? I wish I could hear this because I'm curious to know how loud this thing is w/ the bullet and turn down before the axle.

Silas,

probably pretty similar to mine, but his is going to be louder as he has just a bullet and mine is a oval, but with the outlet under the car you get alot more resonance and sound inside the car as opposed to the outlet on the outside of the perimeter of the car.
